Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is one of the most extensively researched forms of psychotherapy (Butler, Chapman, Forman, & Beck, 2006).It has been found to be effective for a number of psychological problems including—generalized anxiety, panic disorder with agoraphobia, social phobia, post traumatic stress disorder, adolescent and adult unipolar depression, childhood depressive and anxiety disorders (Chambless & Gillis, 1993). Cognitive behavioral therapy is considered an evidenced based treatment.
